Jason Anderson Returns to Podium at High Point

Three rounds into the Pro Motocross season, and Rockstar Husqvarna’s Jason Anderson has slowly but surely been making a case for the championship race. After 5th place and 4th place finishes in the first two rounds, Anderson found his first podium of the season at High Point, thanks in part to a solid 2nd place performance in the opening moto. Standing in his way is teammate Zach Osborne, whose 5th place finish at High Point was enough to keep him in 3rd place in the 450MX standings. Defending Supercross champ Cooper Webb has also been impressive so far, with a 4th place finish at High Point and the 6th place position in the standings. Marvin Musquin and Blake Baggett added top 10 finishes to their early season achievements.

The 250MX class has been a bit more unpredictable in the early goings, but the Monster Energy/Star Racing Yamaha team is positioned to once again dominate the top 5 of any given race. At High Point it was Dylan Ferrandis and Cold Nichols taking the 4th and 5th place finishes. The fact that teammate Justin Cooper’s 9th place finish was good enough to keep him in 2nd place in the 250MX standings is a testament to the fierce competition in the class.
